Par - Q and You | BASINGSTOKE GET ACTIVE
For most people physical activity should not pose any problem or hazard. The Par-Q has been designed to identify the small number of adults for whom physical activity might be inappropriate or those who should have medical advice concerning the type of activity most suitable for them. Basingstoke Get Active use the Par Q as a tool for those who are interested in taking part in physical activity and sport and want an idea at the outset of how ready they are to participate. We recommend a follow up interview with your GP should you be in any draught. Talking to the organisors of an event will further ascertain your level of participation.
Below is a sample form that you will be asked to complete when participating in an organised event, sport or physical activity.
